With a passion for delivering exceptional client service, Marcus was eager to start up a firm of Insolvency Practitioners providing liquidations to small companies. With the support of long-term friend Jon Green and his business partner Matthew Gair, Approved Recovery Limited was born.
Jon is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has been managing director and owner of Approved Accounting Ltd since 2012 before which he was a partner in a larger practice. Under Jon’s leadership, Approved Accounting has grown substantially, primarily through embracing changes in technology and adopting high standards of customer service. He is now bringing those same principles to Approved Recovery Limited, as well as a wealth of experience, commercial know-how, and expertise in the tax and strategic aspects of planning for small businesses.
Matt is a qualified Chartered Accountant having trained under Jon after he left university. He has been a director and owner of Approved Accounting Ltd since 2014. He has also previously worked in the private sector for a software company as group financial controller. Matt’s areas of expertise include designing and implementing efficient systems for small companies, and strategic planning and forecasting for growing businesses.
